1、 Introduction
The Nigerian China Mining Federation is an enterprise and institution engaged in the exploration, development, and utilization of mineral resources in Nigeria in accordance with the law. It is a mining related industry association and a non-profit industry social organization voluntarily composed of mining related research institutes (schools) and other institutions and individuals. On August 24, 2023, the plaque was unveiled by Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Cui JianchunThe venue is set up in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.
After being officially approved by the Nigerian Presidential Council, the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Nigerian Ministry of Mines, and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, and after more than two months, it was finally officially issued by the Nigerian Council of Corporate Affairs (CAC) and obtained the approval license on January 12, 2024. At this point, the Nigerian China Mining Federation has a legitimate independent license and is subject to Nigerian regulationsNational level industry associations recognized by the federal government.
his association is abbreviated as China Mining Association of Nigeria, abbreviated as CMAN.
2、 Purpose
Promote the spirit of patriotism, operate in accordance with the law and regulations, abide by social ethics, and consciously strengthen the construction of integrity and self-discipline.
(1) Promote mutual connection and communication among members;
(2) Enhance understanding and communication between members and the Nigerian business community;
(3) Assist in expanding economic and trade cooperation between China and Nepal;
(4) Maintain close contact with member units, actively assist members in solving problems, and safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the enterprise;
(5) Guide and coordinate the legitimate operation and fair competition of member enterprises, negotiate and solve major business problems, and represent members in external negotiations.
3、 Business scope
(1) Strengthen communication and cooperation among Chinese mining enterprises in Nepal, and build a platform for members to exchange experiences and share resources;
(2) Provide assistance to members in expanding their market business in Nigeria;
(3) Coordinate the business behavior of members in the mining market in Nepal, and maintain the normal operating order of the mining market;
(4) Strengthen communication with the mining departments, institutions, and organizations of the Nigerian government, reflect the wishes and requirements of Chinese mining enterprises, represent members in negotiating relevant matters related to mining business with the Nigerian side, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of members, hold or organize various activities aimed at promoting exchanges between Chinese mining enterprises and relevant mining government departments, institutions, and organizations in Nigeria, and promote Sino Nigerian mining cooperation;
(5) Entrusted by government departments or based on market and industry development needs, organize brand conferences and mining related exhibitions and conferences in the fields of geological exploration, green mining, technological innovation, overseas investment, etc. in the mining industry; Organize talent training and expert services related to mining science and technology, business management, laws and regulations, etc;
(6) Carry out mining cooperation and exchanges between China and Nepal, build a cultural exchange and cooperation platform between China and Nepal, provide consulting services on legal policies, resource conditions, investment environment, investment and financing, and host mining conferences between China and Nepal.
(7) Organize the construction of an integrity and self-discipline system in the mining industry, and establish a self-discipline platform for member units and practitioners in the industry;
(8) Other matters.

5、 Introduction to Members
Our association currently has over 150 corporate members and several individual members, with members distributed and active throughout Nigeria. The main types of mining operations include lithium mines, gold mines, tantalum niobium, lead zinc, fluorite, granite, coal mines, copper, tin and other metals.
The business types of member enterprises include mining, mining acquisition and trade, logistics and transportation, and others, accounting for approximately 48%, 28%, 8%, and 16% respectively; "Other" refers to enterprise members engaged in upstream and downstream industrial chains or peripheral supporting services such as mining equipment, exploration technology, testing services, civil explosive products, mining investment, safety services, etc.
